Our Story
The Church plant began in 1994 by Graham Eggins. In August 1996 the Tweed Coast Community Baptist Church was formally recognised by the NSW Baptist Union with 22 foundation members.
We begun services in a restaurant, then later in some vacant shops which enabled us to purchase land and build our church facilities. We held our first service in the new building in 1997. We praise God for how He opened so many doors and blessed us in so many ways for this church to begin. This blessing continued as we were able to call several associate ministers and youth workers.
Graham was called to another church and after a long search Russell Hinds was called to be the senior pastor. Russell has been our pastor from 2010 to 2021. In this time he has grown the church congregation to approx 70 adults plus 20 children pre-covid.
In 2022 we called Peter Graham to be our Lead Pastor and has hit the ground running. Peter's focus is very much on community and families.
